Why was ETIAS needed?

How Does the Travel Permit Application Work?
For the passports of the countries listed above that can travel to EU countries without a visa, a permit must be created from the system called ETIAS. Applications will be made on the Etias website and there will be no need to go to the consulates. During the application, you will be asked to pay 5-10 € per person (only for those over 18 years old).
